Blagging

A few days ago, my friend Gregg Koskela noted on his blog, "Did you know if you do a Yahoo search for "Jack Russell puppy stains on carpet"”...my blog has the number 2 hit? Who knew I was so knowledgeable?" I was very impressed.

Well, in the spirit of full disclosure, I should note that if you do a Google Blog Search for "California election", that out of 39,504 posts mine is...

NUMBER ONE!

Well, congratulations! Enjoy your 15 minutes. But in the blogosphere, it may be more like 15 seconds!

Looks like your prophetic powers were at work. You should have bought a lottery ticket, too.

This is a new experience for me. I am not used to voting with the majority on propositions or for national government officials.

I ultimately voted against Prop 73, too. I think abortion is bad, but I don't think making it illegal is the best way to make it go away. I do think that some form of parental notification and a waiting period are both good ideas.

But I voted against this one because of a couple of stealth elements in the proposition. I just absolutely hate the tendancy toward this and refuse to support initiatives which do so, even if I largely support them.

Well I'm no. 1 for "Rocky Racoon" and "Quaker." Top that, buckos!
