This mag tells you how to make a cigar box guitar, Christmas cookies that explode, and has a whole bunch of coffee hacks. Finally someone is telling us how to make genuinely useful crafts.

Warning: Event-Horizon Cory Doctorow at BoingBoing has discovered an amazing new game, which he fears could ruin his life. He calls it a "geeky card game that rewires your brain". The game Set.

Brendan Koerner at Slate breaks down the theme songs for the Astros and White Sox (edge to the 'stros) while ruminating on the broad genre of sports inspired raps and songs.
